Winter’s Coming – Time for Nordic Prints!

Back in 2010, Dolce & Gabbana launched their apres-ski style collection and brought back Nordic print to its full glory. The collection featured cosy knitwear with snowflakes and deers, cables and furry boots.

Hosiery companies started catching up and included 1-2 styles with Nordic prints in their fall/winter collections since then – some making microfiber tights in lighter weights, and others using warmer and heavier yarns such as wool and cotton.

Hipster (Low-Rise) Pantyhose and Tights

Hello, dear readers! It has been a while since we posted here but there was a reason for that. We have been busy searching for new styles that will satisfy your needs and, apparently, we have been doing good since our hipster/low-rise hosiery has been growing more and more popular. We have been getting very happy comments and e-mails regarding them (head over to our Facebook page if you don’t believe!).

Sheer 20 Denier low-rise pantyhose – classic everyday style for office or any other occasion.

Some call such top “french-cut” and others call it “bikini” – no matter what you choose to call it, it’s pretty and feminine and there is a low-rise waistband – perfect all around!

Low-Rise/Hipster FIshnets with Lace Waistband

How about fishnets with a low-rise waistband? Yes, we got them, too. In addition to the beautiful lace waistband (which also has silicone strips that will cling to your skin and hold the fishnets in place), these fishnets have “reinforced” toes, i.e., the mesh is much smaller and prevents your toes from poking through.

These low-rise tights are an absolute delight and current favorite among our female customers. They are made of ultra-soft 3D microfiber and have a beautiful lace-waistband that sits low on the hips.

Vita Bassa Cotton Hipster Tights

If you prefer natural yarns, such as cotton, the above low-rise tights are made of 70% cotton and are very soft and warm. These tights will be wonderful for chilly months.

We are happy to announce that The Stylish Fox now stocks Cecilia de Rafael hosiery, the brand from Spain that has been gaining a huge popularity in the US. And no wonder – the quality and look of the hosiery offered by CDR are superb, and all at reasonable prices. Cecilia de Rafael is especially well-known for their glossy pantyhose and tights the appearance of which ranges from glass-like finish (Agata) to holographic shimmer (Sevilla).

The other popular hosiery styles from Cecilia de Rafael are their sheer seamless pantyhose (Miss 320) and completely opaque shiny tights Uppsala.

We recently added two new styles: Coral 424 – absolutely amazing 60 Denier tights with a slight sheen and a silky feel (quite unusual for opaque tights that are always made from microfiber that won’t provide any glide), and Yupi – unisex knee-highs with graduated compression (these compression socks will be very useful if you spend a lot of time standing or sitting). The knee-highs are built anatomically so that there is no pinching in the toe, or rolling or squeezing in the top band.
